negro foundation

man. church totally killed my emo-ness. which im happy about. everything we were talking about was so encouraging. and today, in acts 16. how paul got sick (showing the spirit was forbidding him to go to asia) and instead of rebelling against the spirit, he just went with it. so i mean, if the spirit makes it so i shouldnt go to social (ex. my mom doesnt let me) then im not even gonna try to rebel. ill let the spirit lead me throughout my life. and i need to pray that i will LET the spirit lead in my life more often. yeah. and the whole suffering produces a strengthened chrsitian life thing. so i mean, i guess god is just testing me. like gold is tested. gold is burned (which is basically like having the gold "suffer"), but when it comes out of the fire, its perfected and refined, made super shiny. and thats like us. when the hard times are over, we're refined, and we've become a little holier in gods eyes. and seriously, living a good christian life, training oneself unto godliness, is basically impossible without having holiness. which means, by the transitive property <--nerddd , that living a good chrsitian life, training yourself to be more godly (shunning sin and such), is IMPOSSIBLE without all the sufferings of everyday life. and right now gods like, giving me a COMP. huge test. a lot of things that are really causing emotional pain. but you know what? in the end, imma come of refined and even better than i was before.

yeah. a lot of encouragement from that. look, im already growing in god. ive got all these spiritual posts. (:

Chruch was pretty cool for me today too. Well it was palm Sunday, so that didn't exactly brighten my mood...listening to the story about Jesus getting crucified and all...but it made me think...all these problems everyone is having, these "tests", this suffering...it's alost like our own crucification. The comforting thing is that we'll "rise again" and get closer to God in the process.
...Am I making any sense?
Well I hope so...but it sounded a lot nicer when I was thinking it out. XP
